Mary Moore (pitcher)

Mary Moore was a pitcher who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She was born in California.
Little is known about this player who appeared in eight games for the 1948 Rockford Peaches champion team. Mary Moore posted a 2-3 pitching record and batted an average of .222 (4-for-18).〔(1948 Rockford Peaches )〕
Moore was not located after leaving the league in 1948. She died in 1986.〔
Two years after her death, Moore became part of ''Women in Baseball'', a permanent display based at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York, which was unveiled to honor the entire All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.
